A zone is a way for you to see whether players are in a certain area or not. You can also configure the settings for that area, like allowing item drop, gadget fire, and gadget drop. However, these are all global, meaning that these would apply to everyone, taking some control away. Zones registering is buggy. If you activate a zone when a player can't see the edge of the zone, the zone won't register that you're inside of it. To further complicate this, if you teleport inside a zone and you can't see the edges of the zone, the zone won't register.
