XP

When you are playing a 2D Gimkit game mode, XP is earned through a combination of playtime and answering questions. Every time you level up, you receive 100 GimBucks. You need 1,000 XP to level up. Players will receive 300 XP per minute as long as they have answered at least 1 question in that minute.

Tips

• Each minute, you need to answer at least one question to get the XP for that minute.
• XP is only granted at the end of each minute.

History

• Originally, XP was earned through performing various tasks within games, but it was changed to the current system when 2025 Season 1 released, which also allowed XP earning in Gimkit Creative gamemodes (maps).
• XP was increased from 200 to 300 per minute a little after the time system was introduced.
• Originally, using a Kit with questions that only had correct answers would prevent XP from being obtained.
• Once, you could AFK in Snowy Survival and get a little over 50 XP per minute. This would bug out and could exceed your XP limit. This is fixed.
