The Entire GimKit Lore

Gimkit: explained

In Tag: Domination, there is a purple key in the negotiation room. This can be used to unlock one of the Vortex file cabinets. When you unlock the cabinet, it gives you a list of possible Echo Codes. The correct one is LwMXzNxy, which is the 14th one backwards. In Snowy Survival, you can catch GimFish in the Fishing section. You can plant these in the Farming Section and get one Gold Key. 10 Gold Keys can unlock the vault at the top-left corner of Snowy Survival. This unlocks two things, the Echo computer, and a console. The console will emit a morse code message directly translating to "ERROR. INVALID MESSAGE." but can be bypassed by using Chemical Supreme. If LwMXzNxy is used to open the computer, the machine shows a recipe for Chemical Supreme. After 30 Gold Keys, 10 Blue Fish, 5 Green Fish, and 500 Plastic Bottles have been collected, Chemical Supreme can be made. This allows for a conversation between Vesper and the The Crafter using the console. In One Way Out, Chemical Supreme is used to colonize a planet known as Tenebris by Echo. But along the way, everything goes wrong. Evil Plants were accidentally created in a science experiment by Dr. Aventon, and you can find a computer that tells you more about this in One Way Out When you unlock the secret mission, get the Wooden Wand, and go to the top of the library where you fight the Pink Plants, you will unlock an internal monologue. This reveals that player was somehow involved in the building of the Alphastar and lost their memory of building it. If you gather all 10 Gold Keys in Dig It Up and go to rescue Mayor Cole, you'll be told about Mayor Cole's plans to visit the Council of Mardonix, and then makes you the Mayor of Diggsburg. Rocky West, Yellow Split, Mineride, and Doug can all be found near the surface and will tell you about Mayor Cole, the history of Diggsburg, the Gold Keys, and how the town has been struggling. Blastball is seemingly separate from the lore above. This or That does not have any lore. Theories Remember, these are Theories and not confirmed canon, they are only interpretation of the facts. Gims, humanoid creatures, are created on the island of Fishtopia. Surrounded by water, they find a machine, one that lets you receive what you need to survive. They start to develop games to pass the time. The Gims create two factions, Echo and Vortex. The factions are at odds, constantly sending spies, and attacking the other team in an attempt to steal "Energy," A substance Gims need to move, do actions, and survive. In Tag Domination, its revealed that Vortex stumbled upon two sheets worth of Echo Codes, and they realize they can use these passwords to get the upper hand on Echo. Two entities, Vesper and "The Crafter" communicate on alternate dimension travel. "The Crafter" is obsessed with finding out the secret to cross-dimensional communication. In the Farmchain game mode, its revealed that experiments are being run by a third party that is led by Rocky West. This third party is in league with Echo. It turns out Farmchain was a front for Rocky West's research on making Chemical Supreme. Rocky West predicts a snowstorm. Eventually, the predictions come true, and The World Of Gims is covered in snow. After this happened, The Crafter worked harder. But eventually, a disastrous accident happened, and the experiments merged all of the Realms/Game modes together, causing parts of Echo, Vortex, Fishtopia, and Farmchain to combine. The lake in Snowy Survival is heavily polluted. The Crafter then leaves a note for Vesper in a vault in Snowy Survival about cross-dimensional communication. Echo's computer becomes unlocked with the 14th password backwards on the 2nd sheet, which reveals the recipe for Chemical Supreme. Chemical Supreme is used to power on a transmitter which sends a signal to The Crafter. The Crafter was expecting Vesper to send a signal to them, but then soon after they realize that the player isn’t Vesper, and so The Crafter breaks off contact with the player, telling them to never contact him again. Echo, in their quest for greater knowledge and power, fly on the ship The Alphastar to Tenebris, a place their research tells them is filled with resources. This captures the interest of The Crafter, who leaves a note. Echo brings some chemical supreme on board, which the scientist pours on the plants in the garden. The plants gain a mind of their own and become evil. During their takeover, the evil plants steal keycards from members of the crew. One of the plants was created different, and stronger from the rest, the boss plant. The boss evil plant created 4 more like him. Three of them he entrusted with gold keycards, which when used, can unlock strong weapons and the 1st of the 10 keycards that can unlock his location. When he is defeated, he drops his own Wooden Wand (the weapon of the plants) which has magical properties. The player onboard the Alphastar is suspected to be the Vesper, because in Crafter’s note to Vesper, it states that he sometimes suffers from memory loss. Remembering your Roots includes someone who is confused by memories they somehow have. This could mean that these scientists could be testing this on Gims, not just plants and they have different reactions to Chemical Supreme. Maybe this is why the scientist wants people to stay away from Chemical Supreme, because it can control creatures and wipe their memory. This could also mean something much different. Notice how in order to get the internal monologue, you have to be holding the weapon that the plants are holding. This could mean that the the Gim used to be a plant, but was healed and it's memories taken away. The most popular theory at this moment is the Simulation Universe theory. The theory states that all the 2D games are simulations, even Gimkit Creative. It is currently under discussion whether or not humans are involved. Some evidence found to support this is The Crafter's message to Vesper, Remembering Your Roots, and the short story found in the Library section during One Way Out. The Gimbit skins suggest that the pixelator does, in fact, pixelate gims. Mayor Cole is keeping his hot-air balloon purposely lit to exploit Gims into mining and selling minerals to keep the town thriving. This theory is supported by the fact that hot-air balloons will eventually fall to the ground if no one is keeping it afloat, permits are needed in this emergency situation, and Diggsburg is a town that is focused on mining for profits.
