Gimkit
Gimkit is an educational classroom quiz game where players compete by answering questions and playing one of many gamemodes. In October 2017, Josh Feinsilber created Gimkit and it became an officai company on June 2018. In order to make a game, the host first needs to create a Kit, which is a set of multiple-choice and open-response questions. Then, they can pick a gamemode and host a game, which can be joined by anyone with a 5-6 digit code.

Main Article: Gamemodes
There are two main types of official gamemodes offered by Gimkit- Non-2D gamemodes (1D), which are older and involve answering questions much more heavily, and 2D gamemodes, which allow players to move around a 2D map in real time.

Cosmetics are split into 3 categories: Gims, Stickers, and Trails you can buy with GimBucks earned by playtime in 2D gamemodes. Stickers are cosmetics that can be applied in any 2D gamemode lobby as a stamped image on the ground. Trails are particles that come out of the player when walking in any 2D mode.
