GimBucks
From The Gimkit Wiki
GimBucks are an in-game currency used for buying Cosmetics. Every time you level up by obtaining 1,000 XP, the player would earn 100 GimBucks.
The base Weekly XP cap is 15,000 XP per week, which allows the player to gain up to 1,500 GimBucks per week. With the introduction of Seasons, the XP cap was increased to 20,000 if a player bought a Season Ticket for $5 USD, therefore allowing the player to earn up to 2,000 GimBucks per week.
Each type of Cosmetic rarity has a different price of GimBucks:
Rarity | Gims | Stickers | Trails |
---|---|---|---|
Uncommon | 800 | 150 | ??? |
Rare | 1,200, 1,300, or 1,350 | 250 | 750 |
Epic | 1,200, 1250, 1,300, 1,500, or 1,650 | 350 | 800 or 1,000 |
Legendary | 1,750 or 2,000 | ??? | 1,200 |

Notes
- Currently, no one can get any more Gimbucks or buy new Cosmetics until August 21, 2024.
- There once was a bug in Tag: Domination that allowed you to teleport into the enemy’s base allowing for you to farm coins up to the daily limit.
- An old Effective strategy for grinding coins is to play Tag: Domination and buy all the upgrades. Since they were 200 XP each, it was a fast way to get easy coins.
- Another strategy is to play One Way Out on beginner difficulty where you can one shot evil plants with the zapper. Since it is 32 XP per kill it is an easy way to get XP.
- Once, you could AFK in Snowy Survival and get a little over 50 XP per minute. This would bug out and could exceed your daily limit. This is fixed.
- Some Cosmetics would have an increased amount of GimBucks in the Item Shop, such as Shamrock Sam or Clock-O-Matic.
- Some Cosmetics would have a decreased amount of GimBucks in the Item Shop, such as Raveena and Gobble.
- Some exclusive cosmetics would be able to be obtained for free (0 GimBucks), such as Wish 6, Half-Dozen Celebration, High...Five, Fifth Wish, Snowmuff, and previously, Presento, though Presento now costs 800 GimBucks to obtain.
- The GimBuck design may be inspired by the Fortnite V-Bucks design.
